Work we’ve done for organisations like yours

Child safety · Government

Child Safe Standards training for a state government agency

A national child safety provider engaged us to design training on Victoria’s Child Safe Standards for a Victorian state government agency. We wrote the content and travelled across the state to deliver it, training more than 1,000 staff in metropolitan and regional Victoria.

Need a starting point? See our child safety policy review.

Course design · Higher education

Course design for two community services degrees

Two private higher education providers, one in Sydney and one in Melbourne, needed community services degree content that met TEQSA standards and reflected real practice. We wrote the course content and lecture materials for 14 subjects: 10 in Sydney and four in Melbourne. Both degrees were accredited by TEQSA, and more than 100 students have since studied across the two.

Workforce planning · Residential care

A two-year training plan for a residential care provider

A Queensland youth residential care provider with more than 80 staff faced high turnover, incidents, compliance pressure and ad hoc training, and its management team was new to the sector. We ran a gap analysis across the workforce and built a two-year training plan mapped to Tiers 3 and 2 of our Professional Development Framework. We also briefed managers on what Certificate IV and Diploma training does and doesn’t cover, and provided supervision to the management team.
